The Choctaw County High School "Mighty Tiger Marching Band" consists of about 60 students in grades 7-12.  The band entertains audiences at all high school varsity football games, community events, and annual parades.  The band consistantly receieves excellent and superior ratings at marching festivals and competitions.  The "MTMB" includes a majorette line and color guard.  Students involved in the "MTMB" exhibit pride and excellence in musicianship and marching. The Choctaw County High School Symphonic Band consists of students in grades 7-12.  This group is the top performing ensemble at CCHS. Students in this group have been in band for at least one year and exhibit the highest level of musicianship. The Symphonic Band meets during both semesters of the school year and performs regularly for community events and for the annual Christmas, Pops, and Spring Concerts.

The Jazz Ensemble is the newest ensemble at Choctaw County High School, established in the fall of 2009.  This is an audition only performing group with select instrumentation that plays for local functions and performs at all band concerts.  Jazz tryouts and practices begin after marching season.

The Beginner Band consists of students from Choctaw County Elementary School in grade 6.  Beginners study the fundamentals of music from Essential Elements 2000 Book 1. The Beginner Band meets during the school day with several after school practices throughout the year.  They perform at the annual Christmas, Pops, and Spring Concerts.

The Visual Ensemble consists of a majorette line and color guard.  This ensemble is open by audition only to young ladies in grades 7-12 that are members of the band.  All members of the visual ensemble play an instrument in the concert band.  Students must have one year of marching experience with an instrument in order to try out.  Tryouts are held in March of every year.  The Visual Ensemble wows the crowd at marching band events with their use of precision, color, and visual appeal.  Both groups have earned consecutive superior ratings at competition and the majorettes have earned the Best in Class Award in 2010.
